Hot-rolled steel for cold forming is used for bending and deep drawing purposes. These forming grades have good pickling and welding properties. |
Applications |
Hot-rolled steel for cold forming is suitable for parts for which a limited deep drawability is sufficient, and for which there are no extreme surface requirements, such as:
- car components:
pulley bearing cage seat bumper switch box engine housing oil pan
- tubes and sections
- parts for domestic appliances
- industrial furniture: switch gear panels
